I've been tagged..Watch out you could be next!

Thanks a million Linnell! I never respond to these kinds of things, but I hate to be the spoiler, so I'll do it this once. Although, I don't know if I know 4 other people that haven't already been tagged.

The rules, The rules get posted at the beginning of each post. Each player answers questions then tag 4 people. Leave a comment, let tagger know when you're done.

1. What was I doing 10 years ago?
I was coming up on my 1st anniversary. Working at Century 21 Real Estate as a secretary and trying to get through school. I do remember being responsible for the yard care at our apartment complex, so we could get a break on the rent.

2. What are 5 things on my TO-DO list for today?
-Take the kids to the park for a lunch date with the ladies in my new ward. We really hope to meet some new friends that the kids will go to school with.
-Vacuum the basement.
-Pick strawberries from the garden.
-Experiment on a new dinner recipe (may end up at McDonalds for dinner)
-Watch the second to last baseball game of the summer for Hannah and Porter.

3. What are snacks I enjoy?
Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate. That was an easy one!

4. Things I would do if I were a billionaire.
I would go on as many vacations as possible. We've been dying to go on the Disney Cruise and that might be our first order of business. I echo Linnell in wanting our own piece of land somewhere that we can escape to and do absolutely nothing.

5. Places I've lived.
Roy, UT
Ogden, UT
Colorado Springs, CO
South Ogden, UT

Swingletons house!

Okay, I am really going to get a new camera. None of my pictures are turning out. Maybe it's the photographer not the camera though. Oh well! I feel like I've had a million posts lately, but I had my camera in my diaper bag from the baseball game, so I snapped pictures the rest of the day. My children love to go to their Great Grandma and Grandpa Singleton's house. Hannah has nicknamed them Grandma and Granpda Swingleton because of their awesome tree swing. Last Friday, they invited us down to West Point for a pizza picnic on their back lawn that looks like it belongs in a magazine. My Grandpa is 87 and still has the best lawn in the state of Utah. Tate has really taken a liking to his Great Grandpa and loves to take rides on the riding lawnmower with him. They could stay there and play all day if I would let them. We are so lucky that they are able to have such great relationships with so many grandparents!

Swimming Lessons

Porter and Hannah just finished up their swimming lessons. None of Hannah's pictures turned out. I think it's about time for a new camera. Porter made major strides this year. He's now going underwater and doesn't care if water gets on his face. That's major progress for him. Hannah has become quite the swimmer. She now swims from one end of the pool to the other and can also do the backstroke all the way. She could definitely beat me in a race. She's also learned to dive in the deep end. Maybe it's those long legs of hers that makes her such a great swimmer.

We love baseball!

It's a good thing that the kids like to play baseball, because it's a requirement in this family. Not only do they love it, they are both very good at it. We put them on the same coach pitch team this year so we would only have to go to two games a week instead of four. Although we don't mind spending every night at the ballpark, we knew we would be moving mid-season and it would be harder to get to every game. They are both doing very well, and think they now need baseball pants. We did cleats this year, and I guess we'll graduate to baseball pants for next season.

Raging Waters

JetBlue had their annual summer party when they rent Raging Waters for the employees and their families. We debated on whether to go or not because the weather was so terrible in the morning. We decided to brave it and we are very glad that we did. Although it was pretty chilly, the water was warm and we had a terrific time. The last picture is a picture of Tate when he fell asleep under the stroller. He was lying under it playing with the belt buckle when he conked out on us. It gave the kids a good chance to go play in the water without worrying about him. The kids had such a good time and did not want to leave when it was over. They are definitely water kids!
